Royal Enfield has introduced a new avenue for motorcycle purchases in India by partnering with Flipkart to offer its entire 350cc range online. Starting September 22, 2025, customers in Bangalore, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Mumbai can order models such as the Bullet 350, Classic 350, Hunter 350, Goan Classic 350, and Meteor 350 through Flipkart. Although deliveries and after-sales services will be managed by authorized Royal Enfield dealers, the online platform provides a streamlined buying process. This strategic move also brings price advantages. Buyers will experience savings due to the new GST reforms, with potential price reductions up to ₹22,000 on the 350cc models. This initiative provides an unprecedented online shopping experience for Royal Enfield enthusiasts. This move represents the first time a mid-size motorcycle brand in India has offered its complete lineup directly on an e-commerce platform. Industry analysts predict that this approach will resonate with the younger generation, who favor the convenience of online shopping. While the service is launching in five cities initially, expansion to more cities is expected. Royal Enfield’s Managing Director and CEO, B. Govindarajan, stated that the aim is to simplify and enhance the accessibility of the motorcycle buying experience. The partnership with Flipkart aligns with the goal of reaching digitally-inclined customers, capitalizing on the evolving consumer preference for online shopping over traditional showroom visits.
