Following the government’s recent announcement on GST rates, which took effect from September 22, 2025, Maruti Suzuki is passing on the benefits to its customers by reducing prices across its range of vehicles. The company aims to stimulate demand in the Indian passenger vehicle market through these price adjustments. The extent of the price cuts varies across different models, with reductions reaching up to Rs 1.29 lakh. These new prices are valid for a limited time, and Maruti Suzuki anticipates a potential price revision by the end of 2025. Key models experiencing these price drops include the Brezza, a popular compact SUV, now priced at Rs 8,25,900 (ex-showroom), reflecting a reduction of Rs 1,12,700. The S-Presso, designed for practicality in urban environments, is now available at Rs 3,49,900 (ex-showroom) after a price cut of Rs 1,29,600. The Fronx, recognized for its crossover styling and optional turbocharged engine, starts at Rs 6,84,900 (ex-showroom), with a price reduction of Rs 1,12,600. The Grand Vitara, jointly developed with Toyota and offering various powertrain options, now has a starting price of Rs 10,76,500 (ex-showroom), following a price cut of Rs 1,07,000. The Alto K10, Maruti Suzuki’s most affordable offering, is now available at Rs 3,69,900 (ex-showroom), representing a price decrease of Rs 1,07,600.
