Responding to the Indian government’s GST reduction on motorcycles and scooters up to 350cc, Yamaha Motor India has announced price cuts for the R3 and MT-03. The price adjustments mean both bikes are now roughly ₹20,000 less expensive. The Yamaha R3, which was previously available for ₹3.60 lakh, has seen a price decrease, and the MT-03, earlier priced at ₹3.50 lakh, is also now more affordable. When Yamaha first introduced the R3 and MT-03 in India, the pricing faced some criticism. In response, the company had previously reduced the prices by up to a lakh of rupees. The latest price drop is a result of the government’s GST cut, benefitting consumers further. The R3 and MT-03 models currently sold in India are the older versions. Although Yamaha launched the newest versions of both models in international markets last year, there is no confirmed date for when the new models will be available in India. Prospective buyers interested in these 321cc Yamaha bikes should visit their local Yamaha Blue Square dealerships to check for potential offers. Special promotions, including exchange deals, corporate discounts, and bonuses, may be available at Yamaha dealerships during the festive season.
