A SpiceJet passenger endured an unfortunate flight experience from Mumbai to Bengaluru when they were trapped inside the airplane’s lavatory for the duration of the journey. The airline has issued an apology and is said to have offered a refund.
The passenger was unable to exit the lavatory after the door malfunctioned. Despite the crew’s attempts to unlock the door, they were unsuccessful. To ease the passenger’s distress, the crew passed a handwritten note under the door, asking him to stay put until the plane landed in Bengaluru.
The flight, which was delayed, departed Mumbai at 2:10 AM. After the plane landed in Bengaluru, the door was opened by ground staff. A picture of the crew’s note quickly circulated on social media, drawing considerable amusement from viewers.
