Ola Electric has announced that it has manufactured 1 million electric two-wheelers in the past four years. The company, which began production in 2021, reached this milestone at its Future Factory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. Ola Electric is highlighting this achievement as a first in the industry. To mark the occasion, a special edition Ola Roadster X+ was released as the millionth unit produced.
The S1 electric scooter range, launched in 2021, was key to Ola Electric’s success. The company expanded its offerings this year with the introduction of the Roadster electric motorcycle range, beginning with the Roadster X+. Despite this growth, Ola Electric has also faced challenges, including issues with reliability, instances of fires, and service concerns. In August 2025, VAHAN data showed that Ola Electric held the second-largest market share in the electric two-wheeler segment, following TVS.
