The global unveiling of Nissan’s new C-segment SUV is planned for October 7, 2025. Reports indicate that Alfonso Albaisa, Nissan’s Global Design Senior Vice President, and Ken Lee, Senior Design Director, will present the design vision for the mid-size SUV. Although the official name and detailed information are still pending, there is speculation that the production model could be called Nissan Kyte. The SUV is anticipated to launch in India in early 2026, competing with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Vitara Brezza.
The forthcoming compact SUV might share its foundation with the third-generation Renault Duster, expected in early 2026. The two vehicles are set to share the same platform, engines, features, and many components. However, this Nissan SUV will boast a distinctive new design. Teasers point to the inclusion of Nissan’s signature grille, marked by two slender chrome strips, and L-shaped connected LED DRLs.
