Audi has introduced the latest generation of the Q3, a key player in the premium compact SUV market, with over 2 million units sold over the past ten years. The redesigned Q3 showcases a more refined aesthetic and incorporates advanced digital technologies. The plug-in hybrid versions stand out with their impressive electric driving capabilities.
The new Q3 will be available in both SUV and Sportback body styles, with the Sportback featuring a lower roofline for a sportier look. The front fascia includes a wide Singleframe grille and sleek headlights. The model debuts micro-LED digital matrix headlights with custom light signatures. Premium touches like OLED taillamps and an illuminated Audi logo add to the vehicle’s high-end feel.
The interior of the new Audi Q3 includes several first-in-class features, such as a new steering control unit for improved space and intuitive controls. Acoustic glazing and a spacious boot contribute to a quieter cabin experience. The SUV version offers a 488-liter boot, which expands to 1,386 liters with the rear seats folded. Rear bench seats that slide and recline add to passenger comfort and flexibility.
Multiple engine options will be available for the new Audi Q3, including a 1.5L TFSI petrol engine generating 148 bhp, enhanced by mild-hybrid technology. A 2.0L TDI diesel engine offers an efficient solution for longer journeys.
The plug-in hybrid variant is equipped with a 25.7 kWh battery, delivering 268 bhp. The SUV variant has an electric range of 119 km (WLTP), and the Sportback variant offers 118 km. Adaptive suspension systems are available, allowing for adjustments to suit both comfort and sport-focused driving styles.
Expected to arrive in India by 2026, the new Audi Q3 is set to become the entry-level SUV model within the brand’s Indian portfolio. It will contend with the Mercedes-Benz GLA, BMW X1, and Volvo XC40 in the Indian market.
