Renault’s update to the Kiger SUV is generating excitement, with the launch scheduled for August 24th. The teaser highlights the facelift’s design, emphasizing a focus on development. The new Kiger features a fresh Lime Green color and the updated 2D diamond logo of the brand on the front.
Design changes are expected to include a redesigned grille, new bumpers, sleek headlamps, and new LED DRLs, akin to the Nissan Magnite. The rear is anticipated to receive new C-shaped tail lamps with updated LED internals, enhancing the SUV’s modern appearance.
The engine options for the new Renault Kiger will remain unchanged. It will continue to offer a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, paired with manual, AMT, and CVT transmission choices. A CNG version will also be available through dealer fitment.
Interior updates are also expected, potentially including soft-touch materials, new upholstery tones, and minor adjustments to the dashboard layout. Features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital driver display, wireless charging, and automatic climate control may be included. Six airbags could be offered.
