Maruti Suzuki has recently introduced the Victoris SUV, set to be launched with a price announcement in the coming weeks. This new model is designed to rival the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the Indian automotive market. A standout feature is its ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) capability, which has contributed to its achievement of a 5-star safety rating. The crash tests conducted by Bharat NCAP resulted in the Victoris receiving the highest safety rating. The assessment included tests on several variants, namely the ZXI+ Strong Hybrid eCVT, ZXI+(O) Strong Hybrid eCVT, and ZXI+(O) 6AT, with the rating applicable across all variants.
The Victoris is based on Suzuki’s modern Global C-Platform. It’s equipped with various features and will be available through Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships, targeting the mass market. The Victoris is designed to be a major offering from Maruti Suzuki Arena, aiming to fortify the company’s position in the Indian passenger vehicle sector and to meet the increasing demand for utility vehicles. Safety is a key focus, with ADAS and other advanced features incorporated.
