Maruti Suzuki’s Victoris SUV is poised to make a significant impact in the market, introducing a suite of features that set it apart from its predecessors and competitors. This SUV boasts several firsts for the Maruti brand, enhancing both the driving experience and overall appeal. Among the key features is the 10.1-inch infotainment system, which has a redesigned user interface. It includes Alexa voice control, an app store with OTT apps, and internet connectivity. This infotainment system is available on the ZXI variant and also supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Another notable innovation is the underbody CNG tank, which is a first for any Maruti car, maximizing the available boot space. The Victoris also comes with a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, a convenient feature controlled with hand gestures, found in the top-spec ZXI and ZXI+ variants. The Victoris is equipped with Level-2 ADAS, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking, high-beam assist, forward collision warning, and rear cross-traffic alert. This safety system is exclusively available with the top-spec ZXI+ variant. The SUV also features a 10.25-inch digital driver display, providing comprehensive information to the driver. This display is available on the ZXI, ZXI+ and VXI strong-hybrid variants. Adding to the premium feel, the Victoris incorporates 64-color ambient lighting, found only in the ZXI+ variant. The audio experience is enhanced by an 8-speaker Infinity sound system, including a center speaker and subwoofer, Dolby Atmos surround experience, and an 8-channel amplifier, which is exclusive to the fully loaded ZXI+ variant. Scheduled to launch around Diwali 2025 with an expected starting price of ₹9.75 lakh (ex-showroom), the Victoris is designed to compete with the Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Toyota Hyryder, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate in the compact SUV segment.
