Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch the Victoris SUV, a new model packed with advanced features, targeting young drivers and families. This vehicle is set to be the brand’s new flagship SUV. A significant aspect of the Victoris is its incorporation of ADAS, a first for Maruti vehicles. This technology includes features designed to enhance safety on the road, such as automatic braking, lane keeping assistance, and collision avoidance systems. The car will also feature a Dolby Atmos audio system, promising an immersive listening experience. In addition to its technological advancements, the Victoris has earned a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, establishing it as one of Maruti’s safest vehicles. The car will offer multiple engine options, including petrol, petrol-hybrid, and CNG variants.
Bookings for the Victoris SUV are underway, requiring a token amount of ₹11,000. While the exact launch date is yet to be announced, the vehicle is expected to be available in showrooms before Diwali. The company may launch the SUV around Navratri, from September 22 to October 2, to take advantage of the festive period. The Victoris will be offered in six different trims: LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI (O), ZXI+, and ZXI+ (O). The base LXI variant includes a 7-inch touchscreen, a 4.2-inch driver information display, black-ivory interior upholstery, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice assistant, a front USB A charger, push-button start/stop, a smart key, a pollen air filter, automatic AC, rear AC vents, six airbags, ABS with brake assist, an electric stability program, hill hold assist, a tire repair kit, Isofix child seat anchors, and three-point seatbelts for all passengers. With an estimated price of around ₹10 lakh, the base model offers a compelling option for budget-conscious buyers, while still lacking some of the premium features.
The ZXI+ variant offers more premium features, like Level-2 ADAS, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, front ventilated seats, 4 speakers, a head-up display, two Type-C front USB chargers, terrain mode (AWD), and 17-inch machine-cut alloy wheels. The ZXi+ (O) variant adds a panoramic sunroof. These fully-loaded variants will come with an estimated price of approximately ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-end ZXI+ and ZXI+ (O) trims would represent the best choices for those who have the budget. The most value-for-money trim will be revealed after the official price announcement. The Maruti Victoris ZXI already presents itself as a strong contender, with a 10.25-inch driver display, black-ivory interior upholstery, an automatic IRVM, black-out 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, DRLs, and fog lamps, along with all of the base features.
