The popular Maruti Ertiga MPV is slated for an update, with dimensional improvements on the horizon. The overall length is expected to increase from 4.39 meters to 4.43 meters. The wheelbase will remain unchanged at 2.74 meters, but the boot space is anticipated to grow. Considering that the Ertiga Tour M already has larger dimensions, there’s a possibility of further enhancements to the overall size.
**Price, Safety and Features:**
The upcoming 2025 Ertiga will feature a TPMS as a standard safety inclusion. Seat ventilation in the second row is also expected to get a revamp. The MPV has also been updated with six airbags, causing a marginal price adjustment. Currently, the Ertiga is available in nine variants with prices varying between ₹9.11 lakh and ₹13.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
**Engine Specifications:**
The refreshed Maruti Ertiga is likely to continue with the existing 1.5-liter K-Series petrol engine, providing 102 bhp and 136 Nm of torque. The CNG variant will generate 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission will be standard across the range, and select petrol versions will also offer a 6-speed automatic transmission.
**Upcoming Launch and Additional Models:**
Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for a new Arena-exclusive mid-size SUV to take on the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Positioned between the Brezza and Grand Vitara, this new model is scheduled to launch on September 3, 2025. The exact name and specifications are yet to be revealed; however, it is speculated that the new SUV could be named ‘Escudo’ or ‘Victorris’.
