Maruti Baleno maintained its position as the top-selling premium hatchback in August 2025. Its sales figures were on par with the combined sales of its rivals. Hyundai i20 showed positive monthly growth but had the largest year-on-year sales decrease. The Maruti Baleno led the sales with over 12,500 units sold in August. The monthly sales saw no change, but annual sales rose by 1 percent. The Maruti Baleno’s ex-showroom price ranges from ₹6.74 lakh to ₹9.96 lakh. It is equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, a high-speed warning alert, and reverse parking sensors.
