Mahindra & Mahindra has teamed up with Warner Bros. to create a special edition of its electric SUV, the BE 6, christened the ‘Batman Edition’. This exclusive variant draws inspiration from the iconic Batman films and comics, setting it apart with unique design elements.
Bookings are scheduled to open on August 23rd, with deliveries commencing on September 20th, aligning with Batman Day. Production will be capped at 300 units, transforming it into a highly sought-after collector’s item. The ex-showroom price for this special edition is ₹27.79 lakh, offering a premium experience for superhero enthusiasts.
The vehicle boasts a satin black body color. Distinctive Batman branding adorns the exterior, including decals on the front doors, a Dark Knight badge on the tailgate, and logos on the fenders, bumpers, and reverse lamps. It features 19-inch wheels, with a 20-inch option available. The hub caps also prominently display the Batman logo.
The brake calipers and springs are finished in Alchemy Gold. The infinity roof incorporates the Dark Knight trilogy emblem. Inside, the vehicle includes a Night Trail carpet and Batman logo projections. This edition is a homage to the protector of Gotham City.
The interior showcases a brushed Alchemy plate on the dashboard, which also displays the edition number. The driver’s cockpit is framed in gold. Suede and leather seats are accented with gold. The Dark Knight trilogy badging is incorporated. Pinstripe graphics and branding enhance the dashboard. The steering wheel, controls, EPB, and key fob all feature the Batman logo.
Based on the Pack Three variant, the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack. This battery provides a range of 682 km based on ARAI testing. It is a rear-wheel-drive SUV, with a powerful motor delivering 286 hp and 380 Nm of torque to the rear axle.
