The Mahindra Vision S concept SUV has been officially unveiled, hinting at a future addition to the Mahindra Scorpio lineup. The Vision S, alongside other concept models like the X, T, and SXT, presents a glimpse into Mahindra’s future design direction. The exterior design of the Vision S incorporates LED headlights, an integrated grille with LED elements and the Mahindra logo. The front bumper houses a radar unit and parking sensors. The design also features roof-mounted lights and pixel-shaped fog lamps. The SUV features thick cladding and 19-inch wheels. Side-mounted cameras replace traditional ORVMs, and the rear design includes inverted tail lamps and a spare wheel branded with the Vision S name. The interior of the Vision S is characterized by a new steering wheel design and a digital driver’s display, plus the new NU UX infotainment system supporting wireless smartphone connectivity. Premium features such as dual-tone upholstery, upgraded door trims, premium seating, and a panoramic sunroof elevate the cabin. Underpinned by Mahindra’s NU-IQ platform, the Vision S can support various powertrains, including petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric. A fuel cap suggests an ICE variant, potentially utilizing a 1.2-litre turbo petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Variable-ratio steering is also expected to enhance the driving experience.
