Mahindra & Mahindra has partnered with Warner Bros. to create a special edition of its initial electric SUV, christened the BE 6 Dark (Batman Edition). The vehicle incorporates design elements and features inspired by the Batman universe, setting it apart from other dark-themed variants. The car’s launch marks a strategic alliance between the automotive manufacturer and the entertainment giant, blending automotive innovation with iconic superhero aesthetics.
Bookings for this exclusive electric SUV are slated to commence on August 23rd. Delivery is scheduled for September 20th, coinciding with Batman Day. The production run is limited to only 300 units, transforming it into a highly sought-after collector’s item. The ex-showroom price of the special edition is set at ₹27.79 lakh. This release offers a distinctive opportunity for enthusiasts who are fans of superhero-themed vehicles.
The exterior design of the BE 6 Batman Edition showcases a unique satin black body. Distinctive Batman-themed decals are found on the front doors, with a Dark Knight badge on the tailgate and Batman logos adorning the fenders, bumpers, and reverse lamps. The vehicle is equipped with 19-inch wheels, with an optional upgrade to 20-inch wheels available. The hubcaps feature the iconic Batman logo.
Further enhancements include Alchemy Gold paint on the brakes and springs. The infinity roof incorporates the Dark Knight trilogy symbol, with interior features including a Night Trail carpet and a Batman logo projection. The interior boasts a dashboard featuring a brushed Alchemy plate displaying the edition number. A gold frame surrounds the driver’s cockpit, complementing suede and leather seats with gold accents. Dark Knight trilogy badging is evident, along with pinstripe graphics and branding on the dashboard. The Batman logo is also applied to the steering wheel, controller, EPB, and key fob.
Powering the BE 6 Batman Edition is a 79 kWh battery pack, allowing for a range of 682 km per charge according to ARAI standards. The rear-wheel-drive SUV utilizes a potent motor in the rear axle, generating 286 hp and 380 Nm of torque.
