Mahindra & Mahindra is preparing to launch a series of new SUVs in India by 2026. This includes a mix of new models, facelifts, and vehicles with electric and hybrid powertrains. The company is focusing on expanding its SUV offerings to meet the evolving demands of the Indian market.
### Mahindra XEV 7e
An electric SUV based on the XEV 9e is in the works, set to be called the Mahindra XEV 7e. It’s slated for a late 2025 launch, possibly November or December. The XEV 7e will share its core components with the XEV 9e, including the platform, powertrain, and design elements. Battery options will include 59kWh and 79kWh LFP packs, offering ranges of approximately 542 km and 656 km. The 7-seater configuration may impact the range slightly.
### Mahindra XUV 3XO Hybrid
Mahindra is also investing in hybrid and flex-fuel technology for its SUVs. The XUV 3XO will be the first hybrid model, expected to arrive next year. It will feature a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine paired with hybrid technology. While the overall design is unlikely to change significantly, the hybrid version will likely receive a ‘Hybrid’ badge and interior enhancements.
### Next-Gen Mahindra Bolero
The next-generation Mahindra Bolero will be released in 2026. The new Bolero is expected to retain its existing diesel engine but will feature significant design and feature upgrades. Spy shots suggest the new Bolero will keep its classic boxy silhouette. A panoramic sunroof will be a major addition, along with a digital instrument cluster, Level 2 ADAS, and other premium features.
