The 2025 Kawasaki Z1100 is anticipated, as suggested by CARB registrations for 2026 models. The registration includes the new ZR1000H model code, along with the Ninja 1000 SX and Versys 1100. Preliminary visuals emerged from a patent application filed in the EU.
The new Kawasaki Z1100 is slated to use the same inline four-cylinder engine as the Ninja 1100 SX and Versys 1100, maintaining similar emission standards. The bike is expected to have similar technical specifications. The Ninja 1100 SX’s 1,099 cc engine is expected to generate a maximum output of 136 hp at 9,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm.
Media reports suggest the Z1100 will have around 136 hp, exceeding the current Z900 by approximately 12 hp. The Z1100 may also use an aluminum frame, double-sided swingarm, upside-down forks, and brakes akin to the Ninja 1100 SX. However, the riding position could be modified for a sportier, naked bike profile.
Additionally, Kawasaki might develop a unique chassis specifically for the Z1100, possibly a tubular frame, to distinguish it further. Although these are CAD renderings, Kawasaki has yet to release specific details.
