While the brand currently sells the Mercedes-Benz G580 in India, the vehicle in the photos appears to be a G400d. This version is positioned below the G63 AMG in the range and includes a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder diesel engine producing 326 hp and 700 Nm of peak torque. The engine’s power is sent to the wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Despite its weight of around 2.5 tons, this SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. The more powerful G63 AMG variant, equipped with a 585 hp V8 engine, achieves the same speed in 4.3 seconds.
