Hyundai India has unveiled the significantly updated second-generation Venue compact SUV and the sportier Venue N Line. These launches mark a strategic move to enhance Hyundai’s presence in the competitive SUV market, bringing more advanced technology and refined styling to its popular models.
The redesigned Venue showcases a bolder aesthetic. Its front fascia is characterized by a new rectangular grille with dark chrome accents and advanced quad-beam LED headlamps. The distinctive C-shaped daytime running lights and a sleek, connected rear light bar add to its modern and premium appearance. Complementing these updates are new 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome door handles, and subtle silver inserts on the side. The rear boasts a robust design with connected taillights and an eye-catching 3D Venue emblem.
Inside, the Venue’s cabin receives a complete overhaul with a sophisticated dual-tone dark navy and dove white color scheme. The dashboard is dominated by a pair of expansive 12.3-inch curved displays, offering a futuristic look enhanced by a new terrazzo texture trim. Enhanced comfort features include a 20mm longer wheelbase for improved rear legroom, rear AC vents, integrated sunshades, and adjustable reclining seats.
Safety receives a major boost with the inclusion of Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems). This suite of features, alongside standard safety equipment like six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold, elevates the vehicle’s safety credentials.
In terms of performance, the new Venue offers three engine choices: a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel. Notably, the diesel engine is now available with a 6-speed automatic transmission option. The Venue N Line features the energetic 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, which can be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The new Hyundai Venue range starts at an accessible ₹7,89,000 (ex-showroom), providing customers with a compelling package of style, technology, and safety.
