Marking its tenth anniversary in the Indian market, Hyundai has launched the Creta King, King Knight, and King Limited editions. These new versions of the Creta SUV include a range of enhancements to the exterior, interior, and features. The goal is to strengthen the brand’s presence in the expanding mid-size SUV market.
Pricing Details for the Hyundai Creta: The base model, the E variant, starts at an ex-showroom price of around ₹11.10 lakh. The EX variant is priced at ₹12.32 lakh, the S variant at ₹13.54 lakh, and the S(O) variant at ₹14.48 lakh. The King editions come at a higher price point, with the King variant ranging from ₹17.88 lakh to ₹20.61 lakh, based on the engine and transmission configuration. The King Knight and King Limited editions are positioned at the premium end, with prices exceeding ₹20 lakh.
Hyundai Creta’s Upgrades: The King variant is identifiable by its 18-inch alloy wheels, matte black paint, and unique badging. Interior improvements include a driver’s seat memory function, an 8-way powered passenger seat with walk-in functionality, and a seat-back table with cupholders. The King Limited variant features branded accents on cushions, mats, and key covers, whereas the King Knight offers matte alloy wheels.
Feature Updates Across the Creta Lineup: Hyundai has extended these updates beyond the special editions. Features such as dual-zone climate control with touch panel, a dashcam, and wireless smartphone connectivity are also offered in other variants like the Creta N Line. This reflects a growing consumer demand for premium features without a substantial increase in cost.
Powertrain Options: The 1.5 petrol, 1.5 diesel, and 1.5 turbo-petrol engines remain unchanged and can be paired with manual, CVT, automatic, and DCT gearboxes. The Limited and Knight trims are exclusively available with automatic transmissions, attracting buyers interested in higher-end features.
