Maruti Suzuki and Mahindra & Mahindra maintained their leading positions, while Hyundai and Tata Motors faced sales drops. The Hyundai Creta emerged as the top-selling SUV in July, solidifying its popularity. The Creta sold 16,898 units, a slight decrease from 17,350 units in July 2024, but still enough to lead the pack. It outperformed competitors like Maruti Brezza and Mahindra Scorpio. Maruti Suzuki’s Brezza sold 14,065 units, experiencing a small 4% decline. Mahindra’s Scorpio saw a 12% growth, with 13,747 units sold. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx took fourth place, with sales of 12,872 units, a significant 18% increase from the previous year. Tata Nexon and Punch followed in the top 10, though their sales dipped compared to the previous year. The Mahindra Thar recorded impressive growth, with sales of 9,845 units, a 125% increase. The Toyota Hyryder, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet also made the top 10, with varying sales figures. The Hyryder experienced a 19% increase in sales, while the Venue and Sonet faced declines.
