Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India has announced price reductions for its vehicles following the implementation of the 2025 Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms. The company will pass on the benefits of the GST changes directly to its customers, leading to lower prices on all Honda scooters and motorcycles starting from September 22, 2025. The price cuts range up to ₹18,887.
The GST reforms have reclassified two-wheelers based on engine capacity. Those with engines smaller than 350cc now fall under the 18% tax bracket, down from 28%. This change has significantly reduced the prices of models like the Activa, Shine 125, Unicorn, and CD350. Conversely, vehicles with engines larger than 350cc now face a higher tax rate of 40%, compared to the previous 31%.
The popular Activa 110 is now available at a reduced price, saving customers up to ₹7,874, while the Activa 125’s price has decreased by up to ₹8,359. The Dio 110 and 125 models also see price drops, approximately ₹7,157 and ₹8,042 cheaper, respectively.
The Shine 100 and Shine 125 models have become more affordable, with reductions of approximately ₹5,672 and ₹7,443. The newly launched Shine 100 DX also sees a price reduction of ₹6,256. The Livo 110, Unicorn, SP125, and SP160, designed for commuters, now have lower prices, with reductions of about ₹7,165, ₹9,948, ₹10,635, and ₹8,447.
The CB125 Hornet’s price has been reduced by ₹9,229, while the Hornet 2.0’s price has been cut by up to ₹13,036. The NX200 also experiences a price decrease of ₹13,978. Premium models like the CB350 H’ness, CB350RS, and CB350 are now more accessible, with prices reduced by approximately ₹18,598, ₹18,857, and ₹18,887.
