Hero MotoCorp has introduced the Xoom 160 scooter in the Indian market, marking its entry into the maxi-scooter segment. The scooter, which made its debut at the India Mobility Show, features a design aimed at combining daily usability with adventurous capabilities. The Xoom 160 is positioned to rival the popular TVS Ntorq 150.
The design includes elements such as a raised riding position and a robust build, including 14-inch alloy wheels and block-pattern tires to give it a commanding presence on the road.
Hero emphasizes the scooter’s ability to handle both smooth city roads and rougher terrains, catering to riders seeking a versatile two-wheeler. The Xoom 160 will be available at Hero Premia dealerships nationwide and through online booking. The estimated ex-showroom price is around ₹1.49 lakh, with potential price adjustments expected after the GST 2.0 implementation.
