Hero Vida is set to unveil its new VX2 electric scooter on July 1st, with recent testing and dealership sightings offering a preview of the upcoming model. The VX2 is designed to provide a fresh look and feature set while maintaining the same core platform as the existing V2 scooters. A key selling point is expected to be its more accessible price point compared to the V2 models. The VX2 boasts a more traditional design compared to its predecessor. Despite the different styling, the internal components, including the battery, motor, and chassis, will be shared, optimizing production efficiency. The current Hero Vida lineup’s pricing ranges from Rs 74,000 to Rs 1.20 lakh. The VX2 launch may see a more competitive price strategy. Spy shots reveal various VX2 versions, possibly including Lite, Plus, and Pro trims. The VX2 is expected to include front disc brakes, telescopic suspension, a digital dashboard with joystick control, and an SOS button. The base variant is likely to feature a 2.2 kWh battery pack, with the top-tier model receiving a 3.4 kWh battery. The motor specifications indicate a permanent magnet motor with a power output that is lower than the V2.
