The Maruti Suzuki Fronx, a compact SUV, has recently surpassed the production milestone of 5 lakh units within 28 months. The Fronx was the highest exported Made-in-India car in the fiscal year 2024-25. Notably, one in every five Fronx units produced has been exported. The Fronx boasts a bold styling and numerous features, including a head-up display, a 360-degree view camera, a wireless smartphone charger, and a 9″ HD Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The Maruti Fronx is priced between approximately ₹7.59 lakh to ₹13.06 lakh (ex-showroom) in India and offers two engine options: a 1.2-liter K-series petrol engine and a 1.0-liter turbo Boosterjet petrol engine. Both engines are available with manual/automatic transmission options. It is also available with a CNG option, using the 1.2-liter engine. The Maruti Fronx delivers a mileage of 22.89 km/liter in petrol and 28.51 km/kilogram in the CNG version.
