The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has emerged as the leading car in July 2025, outperforming the Hyundai Creta in sales figures. The Creta, a long-time favorite, was overtaken by the Dzire, which has been making waves since its new launch last November. A key highlight of the Dzire is its 5-star safety rating, a first for Maruti Suzuki. Its fuel efficiency, innovative features, and refreshed design are key factors in its popularity.
July saw the sale of 20,895 Dzire units, significantly more than the 16,898 Creta units sold. The Dzire’s sales figures improved from 15,484 units in June 2025. This is the second time in the fiscal year 2026 the Dzire has been in the top three bestsellers and the first time it has taken the top spot. The sub-compact sedan is proving popular, especially in smaller cities and those in Tier 2/3 regions.
