Renault is preparing to launch the Duster Hybrid in early 2026, with the seven-seater Bigster model expected within a year. The new Duster will be built at the Renault Nissan plant in Chennai. The initial launch will feature petrol engine options, including turbo-petrol variants. Hybrid versions are planned to be released within 6-12 months post-launch. Globally, the Duster is equipped with a 1.6-liter petrol engine and two electric motors producing around 140Hp. The Bigster utilizes a 155Hp hybrid system. The CMF-B platform, underpinning the Duster and Bigster, supports various powertrain technologies. Furthermore, Renault is focusing on CNG and hybrid powertrains to meet the specific fuel requirements of the Indian market.
