Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has reported the Hyundai Creta as the top-selling model in India from January to July 2025. With 1,17,458 units sold in the past seven months, the Creta has demonstrated an 8% increase in sales compared to the previous year. The Creta’s popularity has been consistently high among consumers.
Celebrating 10 years in the Indian market since its launch in 2015, the Creta has solidified its position as the leading SUV of 2025. It has also claimed the number one spot in overall car sales for three out of the last six months. The model has achieved over 1.2 million unit sales since its introduction, holding a market share exceeding 31% in the mid-size SUV segment.
Hyundai Creta Engine Configurations
The Hyundai Creta is offered in three distinct variants, with both manual and automatic transmission choices available. The current price range for this SUV is between ₹11.11 lakh and ₹20.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Customers can select from three engine options: a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, a 1.5-liter petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine.
Hyundai Creta Fuel Efficiency
The mileage of the Hyundai Creta varies depending on the specific variant. The petrol variants with manual transmission offer 17.4 km/liter, while those with automatic transmission provide 18.4 km/liter. Diesel versions provide 21.8 km/liter with manual transmission and 19.1 km/liter with automatic transmission.
