The upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo (BMGE) is scheduled for February 4-9, 2027, in Delhi NCR, as revealed by the Commerce Ministry. The event will now operate on a multi-year cycle, providing manufacturers with an extended timeframe to develop and showcase innovative mobility technologies. The new format comes after the January BMGE. The 2027 expo is expected to feature an expanded scope, including multi-modal transportation and logistics covering various modes like rail, road, and air, along with urban and rural mobility solutions. A dedicated section for tractors and agricultural mobility solutions is also planned.
The 2025 BMGE attracted approximately 1 million visitors and over 1,500 exhibitors, positioning it as the second-largest auto show globally. Several venues in Delhi-NCR, including Bharat Mandapam, hosted the event. Major automotive brands, including Honda, Audi, Renault, and Nissan, have confirmed their participation in the forthcoming expo. This shift mirrors changes in the global auto show landscape, with shows in Frankfurt, Geneva, and Detroit adapting to evolving industry demands.
