Bajaj launched the Freedom 125 NG04, a CNG-powered motorcycle, in 2024. The company aimed to provide a fuel-efficient option, helping riders lower their fuel expenses. Following a period of strong initial sales, the motorcycle’s sales figures have experienced a downturn. In response, Bajaj has decreased the price of the base model to attract more buyers.
**Pricing Update:**
The base variant with drum brakes has been discounted by Rs 5,000. The new price is now around Rs 85,976, compared to the previous price of Rs 90,976. Prices for the mid and top variants remain unchanged. The mid-variant is priced at Rs 95,981 ex-showroom, while the top variant is available at Rs 1,10,976 ex-showroom.
All variants of the Freedom 125 are equipped with a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 9.5 PS of power and 9.7 Nm of peak torque. The base variant, which has received a price reduction, is fitted with a halogen headlamp, while the higher trims feature LED headlamps.
The base variant features a 110mm drum brake at the rear and a 130mm drum brake at the front. All variants include a CBS braking system. The top variant, identified as ‘NG0D disc,’ has a 240mm disc brake at the front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear.
The base and mid-range models come with a small LCD display without connectivity features. In contrast, the top variant boasts a full LCD display with connectivity options. Additionally, the base model lacks tank flaps and other features included in the more expensive versions.
