Bijapur: Two CRPF soldiers have been injured in the IED blast in Basaguda, Bijapur. Both these soldiers, Mridul Barman and Ishaq Khan, are from the Cobra battalion of CRPF. Both the soldiers were out on area domination as part of the joint team of CRPF’s 229 battalion and Cobra battalion. These soldiers have been injured due to pressure IED blast planted by Maoists. The injured soldiers were airlifted to Raipur early in the morning, where they are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Devendra Nagar. The surgery of both the soldiers is going on in the operation theatre.
