Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren has ordered the formation of an inter-departmental committee to investigate admissions taken in UG and PG medical courses in government/private medical colleges of the state on the basis of fake caste/permanent resident and EWS certificates, and based on the investigation report, has also ordered CID to register FIR and take further action. Along with this, Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren has directed to send a letter to the Government of India to extend the date of Stray Round counseling so that Stray Round counseling can be done after the investigation.
