Assimilation of human values will only create confidence – GovernorJuly 9, 2020
Jaipur. Kalraj Mishra, Chancellor and Governor of the State Universities of Rajasthan has said that youth is the focal point of development of the country. The younger generation has to prepare for the development of the nation. For this it is necessary to educate the youth on human values. Assimilation of human values creates confidence in the person. Mishra believes that only the confident can beat an epidemic like Corona. If education arouses the confidence of a person, then that person will win at every step in life.
Mishra was addressing the workshop through video conference at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday. Workshop on inclusion of human values in technical education was organized by Bikaner Technical University. The Governor said that human values are widespread. These include qualities like sensitivity, good conduct, positive behavior and thinking. Mishra said that due to these qualities, a person will avoid situations like depression and despair. The younger generation has to be motivated for development. The creative mindset of the youth will also have to be developed so that the younger generation can participate actively in the development of the country.
The Governor said that the qualities which directly assimilate in human life are human values. Knowledge of analyzing sin and virtue from human values also arises in a person. One can only discipline oneself in life with human qualities. People of such qualities constantly move forward in every field. We do not have to live as machines. We have to become human. The youth of today and the future of the country also have to teach the qualities of humanity. For this, people have to create sensation. We have to develop such sensations in the society, so that everyone can stay connected with each other.
The Governor said that Indian values are based on rituals and sacrifices. It is necessary for the society to create an atmosphere of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. The primary site of the rites is the family and then the school meets the rites. The shape of educational institutions should be sacramental so that the all-round development of the younger generation can be done. Education institutions are the source of awakening talent in people.
In the workshop, AICTE President Prof. Anil Sahatrabuddhe said that human values have a way to solve the problems of life. The path to a self-reliant nation starts from the village itself. Vice Chancellor of Bikaner Technical University HD Charan gave information about the workshop. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Alka Swamy.
