As the spread of corona virus is increasing, the scope of its symptoms is also increasing. Experts at the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital in Madrid, Spain, say that palatal wounds or rash within the mouth can also be signs of infection.

In a study published in Jama Dermatology, researchers conducted studies on 21 corona-infected patients between March 30 and April 8 in which it was detected. Scientists said that small spots were seen inside the mouths of six patients that were within the nose and throat. Patients who showed these symptoms of corona were between 40 and 69 years old.
Important to check the mouth of the infected
Doctors say that it is necessary to examine the mouth of the infected. As a precaution, the mouth is not being examined or ignored because it is more likely to spread infection. Scientists say that it is necessary to have ENT specialists in the protocol for treatment of corona infected patients so that such problems can be detected in time.

Mask wearers can also become infected
Masks help protect against infection, as well as avoid the risk of the virus from spreading. In a research published in the Journal of Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases Specialist Dr. Monica Gandhi of San Francisco General Hospital, University of California, said, “People wearing masks can also become infected.” But a small amount of virus enters the body of the mask wearer.

They have very mild symptoms or do not come at all. A survey has also revealed that 55.8 percent of people wearing masks fell prey to the corona, compared to 80.8 percent of those not wearing masks. According to Dr. Monica, a small amount of virus in the mask wearer activates the immunity and kills the virus.

Antibody levels may decrease early in those with mild symptoms
Antibodies are formed in patients with mild symptoms of corona but it is possible that the level of immunity will decrease within the first three months. Research by the University of California showed that the level of antibodies in such patients decreased within 73 days. According to research published in the New England Journal of Medicine, this was revealed after a study of 20 women and 14 men who had mild symptoms of infection.
