After Seven days break, petrol prices stable, diesel prices riseJuly 7, 2020
New Delhi. After a break of seven consecutive days, the price of diesel was again increased on Tuesday, but the price of petrol remained stable for the eighth consecutive day. The prices of diesel have been increased by 25 paise in Mumbai and 22 paise in Mumbai and 19 paise in Chennai. For the first time in this month, the price of diesel has increased, after which the diesel has become expensive by Rs 11.39 during the unlock in Delhi. Earlier in June, the price of diesel in Delhi was increased by Rs 11.14 per liter while the price of petrol was increased by 9.17 per liter.
In the National Capital Region, diesel is getting 35 paise per liter higher than petrol.
According to the website of IndianOil, the price of diesel in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai rose to Rs 80.78, Rs 75.89, Rs 79.05 and Rs 77.91 per liter respectively on Tuesday, while petrol price in the four metros without any eighth consecutive day Rs 80.43, Rs 82.10, Rs 87.19 and Rs 83.63 per liter respectively.
Explain that the oil marketing companies increased the price of diesel 22 times in the last month of June and the price of petrol was increased 21 times.
