A new era of student evaluation is dawning in Jharkhand’s government schools with the upcoming rollout of digital report cards. The initial phase will see 80 select ‘Schools of Excellence’ participating in a pilot program. This move signifies a commitment to enhancing transparency and efficiency in reporting student academic progress. Following the pilot, the digital system is slated for expansion to all government educational institutions statewide.
At the Sir JC Bose School of Excellence Girls in Giridih, the first digital report cards will be distributed on December 5th. Principal Munna Prasad Kushwaha elaborated on the system’s structure, highlighting that it encompasses both scholastic achievements and co-scholastic activities. The grading for SA-1 incorporates monthly exam scores (40%) and SA-1 results (60%). The school’s Open House event on the same day will feature a projector demonstration of these comprehensive digital assessments, fostering a deeper understanding of each student’s development.
