Speculation recently pointed to December 7 as the new date, but this has been explicitly denied by Smriti’s brother, Shravan Mandhana. He clarified to reporters that the families are still in the planning stages and no concrete decision has been made regarding a rescheduled date. Palash Muchhal’s mother expressed optimism, stating that the wedding will happen soon and acknowledged the difficult emotions experienced by both families. The outpouring of support includes actor Suniel Shetty’s praise for Jemimah Rodrigues, who reportedly left the Women’s Big Bash League to be present for Mandhana, highlighting the strength of their bond.
