Ranchi. Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren and MLA Smt. Kalpana Soren along with their families participated in the cultural program of “Rajat Parv Utsav” organized at Morabadi Maidan, Ranchi on the occasion of the glorious 25th anniversary of Jharkhand’s establishment.

A grand “Rajat Parv Utsav” was organized at Ranchi’s Morabadi Maidan on the occasion of the glorious 25th anniversary of Jharkhand’s establishment. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, MLA Smt. Kalpana Soren and other family members were present. The Chief Minister celebrated this historic moment as a festival with the people of the state and expressed deep respect for Jharkhand’s glorious traditions and culture.
A grand display of the state’s rich culture was witnessed in the program, where a beautiful confluence of traditional art and folk culture of the state was seen. Attractive presentations of classical dance and music set the mood. Artists presented attractive performances of Jharkhand’s diverse cultural forms – Akhra Jagan (Jhumar), Santhali, Karsa, Khadia, Mundari, Nagpuri, Ghora, Paika, Seraikella Chhau and Manbhum Chhau. These presentations mesmerized the audience and presented a glimpse of the state’s cultural diversity.

The life struggle of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren and his dedication to public service have been a source of inspiration for the tribal society of Jharkhand. He did many important works in the fields of education, social awareness, and empowerment, which were presented vividly by the artists through this play. His ideals highlighted Guruji’s efforts towards local communities to preserve their identity and bring about social change. This dramatic presentation highlighted many aspects of the personality of the late Shibu Soren Ji, such as his fighting spirit, leadership ability, and efforts to promote social harmony. The artists presented those important moments of his life with impressive acting and dialogues, which generated immense reverence and emotion in the hearts of the audience.

A grand drone show was organized in the program, in which the historical journey and cultural heritage of Jharkhand were displayed vividly in the sky with the help of drones. Its visuals captivated the gathered crowd. Popular band “Tom Murmu and Band” and Indian Idol fame Shagun Pathak and famous Bollywood singer Smt. Shilpa Rao set the stage on fire with their musical performances. During the cultural program, there was an atmosphere of enthusiasm and joy throughout the field, with people seen grooving to Jharkhandi music and folk tunes. The “Rajat Parv Utsav”, connected with the emotions of the people of Jharkhand, became a symbol of Jharkhand’s identity, unity, and cultural pride, sending a message to the state residents to stay connected to their roots.
During the program, Bollywood’s famous singer Smt. Shilpa Rao made the event memorable by setting the stage on fire with her outstanding performances. The audience remained engrossed in the depths of Shilpa Rao’s melodies late into the night.
On the occasion of Rajat Parv Utsav, Minister Smt. Shilpi Neha Tirkey, MP Smt. Mahua Maji, Chief Secretary Shri Avnish Kumar, Development Commissioner Shri Ajay Kumar Singh, Director General of Police Smt. Tadasha Mishra, Secretary of Art, Culture, Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Shri Manoj Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Ranchi, Shri Manjunath Bhajantri, Senior Superintendent of Police Ranchi, Shri Rakesh Ranjan, along with other senior officials of the state and district administration, and a large number of dignitaries were present.
