Ranchi: Jharkhand has completed 25 years of its establishment this year. To make this occasion memorable, a two-day program has been organized at Morabadi Ground on November 15 and 16. A grand cultural program will be organized on the second day of Foundation Day, November 16. This grand cultural ceremony is being organized under the supervision of Secretary, Department of Tourism, Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, Mr. Manoj Kumar, and Director of Culture, Mr. Asif Ikram.
For the first time on the second day of Foundation Day, “Jatra” will be organized in Jharkhand. This journey will start from Doranda, pass through Kachahri Chowk and end at Jail Park. About 4000 artists will participate in the Jatra, presenting a glimpse of the diverse culture of the state. In the evening, a grand drone show will be organized at Morabadi Ground, which will showcase the life story of Lord Birsa Munda and the rich culture of Jharkhand through attractive visuals. Along with this, an AV presentation will also be held.
In addition, the rich art and culture of the state will be showcased in the cultural program by including the traditional forms of the state, with the theme being Rhythm of Folk. There will be various types of folk dances such as Santhali dance, Khadia dance, Nagpuri dance etc. Classical dances like Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi dance are also included.
Along with this, there will be a fusion performance of classical and modern dance jugalbandi, and performances by Indian Idol fame Shagun Pathak and Bollywood singer Shilpa Rao.
