The upcoming Jharkhand Foundation Day celebration on November 15th in Ranchi is set to have robust security protocols in place. The main event, to be held at Morahabadi Maidan, will be secured by an deployment of around 1,000 police personnel. A command structure comprising three IPS officers and six DSPs, along with other senior officials, has been established to manage security operations across Ranchi. Addressing the preparations, Jharkhand Police’s IG Operations, Dr. Michael Raj, confirmed the mobilization of supplementary forces. Security operations will commence early, with jawans taking positions by 6 AM, well before the afternoon main ceremony. The deployment of 1,000 additional personnel will cover the entire city. The security team will be further bolstered by three IPS officers, six DSPs, 40 inspectors, and 80 sub-inspectors. The Morahabadi venue itself will feature a three-tiered security system. Specialized units, including the Bomb Squad, JAP, ATS, and Jharkhand Jaguar, will also be present. Comprehensive surveillance will be maintained through extensive CCTV networks across the city, with a dedicated control room monitoring the feeds. Plainclothes officers will also be integrated into the security detail. Strict vehicle checks will be enforced for all attendees reaching the venue. Attendees will pass through metal detectors and scanners at entry points, ensuring a thorough search before admission. The ceremony is anticipated to be attended by the Governor, Chief Minister, cabinet ministers, parliamentarians, legislators, and top state bureaucrats.
