A substantial military exercise involving the Indian Air Force (IAF) is slated to take place in India’s northeastern region from November 13th to November 20th. This crucial drill will involve the participation of all major fighter jet squadrons, air defense formations, and sophisticated integrated defense mechanisms. For navigational safety, the IAF has officially released a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) that encompasses the complete northeastern sector.
The exercise is specifically designed to test and demonstrate the IAF’s deployment capabilities and its rapid response effectiveness along the borders with neighboring countries including China, Bhutan, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. Leading aircraft like the Sukhoi-30 MKI, Rafale, Mirage-2000, Tejas, and Jaguar are anticipated to be a key part of these aerial maneuvers, underscoring the strategic importance of the region.
