In a somber turn of events in Jamshedpur’s Sakchi area, a 23-year-old man named Karan Ram tragically ended his life in his rented accommodation on Sunday night. Hailing from Nainital, Uttarakhand, Karan was a tenant in Kashidih and had no known close relatives nearby. Investigations are pointing towards a personal dispute, potentially linked to a romantic relationship with a 14-year-old girl, as the catalyst for his desperate act.
The discovery was made on Monday morning when the landlord, unable to get a response from Karan’s locked room, grew suspicious and contacted the Sakchi police. Responding officers forced entry into the room to find Karan hanging. His body was subsequently transported to MGM Hospital for an autopsy.
Initial reports from the police suggest that Karan was involved with a minor, and a disagreement between them is being considered as a possible motive. The young man had been living as a paying guest at the residence of Deepu in Kashidih. The police have initiated a comprehensive inquiry, gathering information from neighbors and acquaintances to piece together the events leading up to this heartbreaking suicide. The investigation is ongoing to ascertain all details.
