Following the Deputy Commissioner’s orders, Giridih witnessed a productive public grievance redressal meeting. Ashutosh Thakur, the Deputy Collector of Nazarat, presided over the hearing on Friday, actively listening to dozens of individuals presenting their diverse personal and community-related problems. The grievances spanned a wide array of sectors, including land disputes, issues with the Maiya Samman Yojana, requests for tricycles for persons with disabilities, land mutation, health services, pensions, ration distribution, land acquisition, drinking water, the Abua Housing Scheme, and educational matters. Thakur assured attendees that all concerns were heard with empathy and seriousness, issuing direct instructions for swift resolution to the responsible department officials.
