Prime Minister Narendra Modi articulated that Bihar’s youth are experiencing the most substantial benefits from the state’s current improved conditions. Speaking virtually with BJP workers, he recalled a difficult past when Naxalite activities and violence severely impacted large areas of Bihar, leading to disruptions like the looting of goods trains and fear among residents. He remarked that many young people in Bihar, aged between 18 and 25, have never personally experienced the challenges of that bygone era.
“A better environment has been created in Bihar,” PM Modi stated, emphasizing that this transformation offers the greatest advantage to the state’s younger demographic. He alluded to upcoming electoral victories as a cause for celebration, comparing them to a ‘double Diwali.’ The first celebration was linked to the introduction of GST, with a second anticipated on October 20th. He predicted a third Diwali on November 14th, coinciding with the expected victory of the NDA, and acknowledged the significant contribution of women to this anticipated success.
The Prime Minister also lauded the ‘Mera Booth, Sabse Mazboot’ campaign, describing it as the bedrock of the BJP’s strength at the local level. He explained that the party’s success hinges on the collective power of strong individual polling booths. Furthermore, PM Modi expressed satisfaction with the positive impact of the Mahila Rozgar Yojana, a recent government initiative. He confirmed that 1.20 crore women in Bihar have each received Rs 10,000, highlighting the scheme’s reach and effectiveness in empowering women.
