Koderma is abuzz with national spirit as the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat-1/25’ national camp reaches its tenth day. Organized by the Bihar & Jharkhand Directorate and spearheaded by Group Commander Brigadier S. Gopi Krishnan (SM) and Commanding Officer Vijay Kumar (SM) of the 45 Jharkhand Battalion NCC, the event unites 601 NCC cadets from across India, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand. A key feature of the day was the National Integration Awareness Program, a platform for cadets to present their state’s unique heritage, customs, and landmarks through captivating presentations and cultural displays. The atmosphere was further energized by dance and song competitions, reinforcing themes of patriotism, unity, and appreciation for India’s diverse cultures. Lieutenant Santosh Kumar plays a crucial role, not only by sharing camp updates on social media but also by ensuring participant welfare. The collaborative efforts of Cultural Coordinator Second Officer Abhijit Anand, Girls Cadets Instructors Shivani Sharma, Priyanka Kumari, Lieutenant Alice Minz, Third Officer Naveen Choudhary, and the contingent of nine visiting NCC officers are vital to the camp’s smooth functioning. Under the watchful eye of Subedar Major Arvind Kumar, the program’s execution is flawless. Support staff, including JCOs Balwinder Singh, Jatru Tirkey, A.N. Thakur, Champa Murmu, Ghasiitaram, Ravindra Hebram, Chandrahass, and Havildars A.K. Mishra, Ritesh Kumar, Jagan Topo, Deepak Mahto, and Head Assistant Rajesh Kumar, are all contributing to the camp’s overall success. This initiative serves as a significant forum for building national unity, integrity, and fostering a sense of shared identity among young cadets.
