Amidst the buzz surrounding his performance in ‘Ba***ds of Bollywood,’ Bobby Deol has shared heartwarming news about his parents, Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur. Contrary to speculation fueled by Dharmendra’s expressive social media updates, Bobby confirmed that his parents are living together at their serene farmhouse in Khandala.
Bobby described his father as an “emotional and expressive” individual who shares his feelings openly. “Sometimes he goes overboard, and then I ask him why he wrote what he wrote or said what he said, and he tells me that he was just following his heart,” Bobby explained. He added that while they often visit their father, his emotional nature leads him to express himself strongly, sometimes without realizing the extent of his social media reach.
“My mum is also there. They’re both at the farm in Khandala right now. Papa and Mummy are together; he just gets a little dramatic,” Bobby clarified, emphasizing that his parents find peace and enjoyment at their Khandala retreat. He painted a picture of their life there as relaxing, with good food and weather contributing to Dharmendra’s self-proclaimed “paradise.”
Prakash Kaur, who has largely remained out of the public eye, was also discussed by Bobby. “My mother is a housewife, and I am her favourite. We speak every day,” he said, noting that she isn’t often in the spotlight because she isn’t frequently asked about. He deeply admires her resilience, calling her “the strongest woman I’ve ever met in my life,” and credits her foundational support for his father’s rise to stardom.
