The CGHS program, managed by the central government, offers subsidized medical care to citizens, covering consultations, surgeries, hospitalizations, and other medical needs. A CGHS package is a single, upfront payment that covers all services from admission to discharge. The package includes accommodation, medications, surgical costs, doctor’s fees, and other essential services such as ICU/ICCU charges and physiotherapy.
