If you are planning to purchase a new car this festive season, cars with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are worth considering. These vehicles enhance driving ease and prioritize safety. Leading automotive manufacturers in India, including Hyundai, Mahindra, Tata, and Honda, are integrating ADAS features into their car models. Here are some of the top ADAS-equipped cars.
Maruti Suzuki Victoris:
The Victoris, a recent launch, leads Maruti Suzuki’s ADAS-equipped lineup. Level 2 ADAS is exclusively available in the top-spec ZXi+ AT trims with the 1.5-liter K15C mild-hybrid engine. This feature is absent from the strong hybrid variant. The Victoris with Level 2 ADAS is priced starting from ₹17.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hundai Creta:
The Creta is currently a top-selling mid-size SUV in India. Hyundai offers Level 2 ADAS in the SX Tech and SX(O) variants. The SX Tech variant comes with a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine (MT/IVT) and a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine (MT only). The top-spec SX(O) variant also includes diesel AT and 1.5-liter tGDi DCT powertrain combinations. The Hyundai Creta’s ADAS range starts at ₹15.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra XUV700:
Mahindra was among the first to adopt ADAS, introducing it with the XUV700 in 2021. Level 2 ADAS is available only on the high-end AX7 and AX7 L variants of this SUV. These models are offered with a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel and a 2.0-liter mStallion petrol engine, compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions. The AX7 trims are priced starting at ₹18.37 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Harrier:
Tata Motors updated the Harrier’s variant lineup in August, and the Adventure X+ and Fearless X+ trims now feature ADAS. The Harrier includes a 2.0-liter Kryotec diesel engine, delivering 170 hp and 350 Nm of peak torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The Tata Harrier with ADAS starts at ₹18.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra XUV3XO:
The XUV3XO stands out as a feature-rich SUV in the compact segment. It offers Level 2 ADAS in the AX5 L and top-spec AX7 L variants. The AX5 L variant has a 1.2-liter tGDi petrol engine (MT and AT), while the AX7 L offers a 1.5-liter diesel manual powertrain. The ADAS-equipped Mahindra XUV3XO starts at ₹11.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
