According to reports, a biopic about an athlete was in the works, but it has been pushed to 2027. This means fans will have to wait longer for the Ranbir Kapoor and Rajkumar Hirani film. The pair worked together for a year on the project’s concept. Given the high expectations following ‘Sanju,’ Rajkumar Hirani chose to delay the project. Ranbir Kapoor’s schedule has also been a factor, and the project will be revisited later. Rajkumar Hirani’s film ‘PK’ earned over 700 crore. The director is reportedly discussing a film with Aamir Khan, and they are set to collaborate on Dadasaheb Phalke. The plan is to start shooting in January 2026 after workshops in December, after which Ranbir’s film will follow.
